Tony Boswell
Tony founded Retronix in 1992, in the United Kingdom. Formed initially to operate in the printed circuit board assembly arena, Tony has seen the company grow both globally (now represented in multiple sites in the Americas, Europe & Asia) and in terms of business sectors (semiconductor, PCBA, service sector).
Tony brings a great deal of business management experience to Retronix semiconductor, having managed relationships with global corporations and smaller local companies for over 15 years. You can reach Tony at tony.boswell@retronix.com.
Stuart Proctor – Managing Director
Since the early 1990’s, Stuart has worked for several industry leaders such as NEC [UK] Semiconductors, Intel, and Jazz Semiconductor in various engineering capacities in the areas of equipment, process, systems, and yield engineering including engineering management. He has held positions in Europe, North America, and Asia.
Stuart is well known in the industry as an individual that delivers top quality solutions for challenging situations. He is quality driven and regarded as one of the best project managers in the industry. He holds a Masters Degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, a Masters in Business Administration, and is a Member of IEEE.
Christopher Choffat – Operations Manager
Christopher, a Veteran in the Semiconductor Industry since 1990, is a U.S. patent holder, and has been involved in the development of several types of Chemical Mechanical Planarization (CMP) tools, Wafer Cleaning semiconductor tools, and chemical delivery systems. He has spent considerable time in the field with the CMP customer base worldwide, providing expert technical support, first-in-fab project management, and managed the worldwide Installations Group while with IPEC-Planar. He has also spent 5 years supporting Applied Materials CMP equipment in both 200 and 300mm platforms.
Christopher is widely regarded as one of the top technical resources for equipment and process engineering solutions worldwide. He has developed several CMP processes, wafer cleaning processes, and related chemistries. He has previously held an equipment engineering position with National Semiconductor and served as the Director of Engineering for a semiconductor parts manufacturing and equipment refurbishment company. Chris holds an Associates Degree in Electronics Technology and a Bachelors Degree in Business Management.
Iain Rae – European Operations Manager
Iain is an Equipment Engineering professional having been involved in the Semiconductor industry for the last 25years. He has worked for several manufacturers in the United Kingdom including Atmel, Siemens, Motorola and Digital Equipment Corporation. Iain is well respected in the industry having fulfilled equipment management roles for the last 15years covering, Lithography, Metrology, Dry Etch, Implant and Thin Films. Iain is well known with the United Kingdom as a highly motivated, quality driven Manager who enjoys a challenge and is innovative in his approach to problem solving. Mark Diamond
Mark started work in the Semiconductor industry in the late 80's when he joined National Semiconductor and subsequently worked for Digital Equipment Corporation supporting maintenance positions in Thin Films and Etch. Subsequently Mark moved to take on Field Service positions with Gasonics International and Novellus Systems supporting positions across Europe, and North America in field engineering, process support, installation project management and Operations Management. Through his work, Mark is well known throughout Europe and enjoys the challenge of exceeding customer requirements in Safety, Quality, Schedule and Output.
